Orange Ya Glad I Thought of This? Vintage Items in Glorious Orange!

I know, I know.  I'm a goofball.  I'm OK with that.  As long as I am providing the masses with an assortment of lovely vintage pieces in the wondrous color orange.  Tangerine, neon, burnt, blood - you get the point!  I love orange!  My great-great grandmother (see my shop icon) was a very classy lady and orange was her favorite color, so I guess that's where I get it from!  I hope you enjoy this collection.  I think my Gammy would have enjoyed it as well.  <3  Amanda

VintageDove has lots of wonderful clothes! This Orange Flapper really takes the cake!

I really like this orange ceramic vase for sale by dayglodiva!

While ElsiesFlat is not a vintage shop, these wonderful aprons really take me back! They're fabulous! Especially this one...

Brooklynretro has a lovely drink set by Culver. What a fantastic set!

I absolutely adore vintage Pyrex! This bowl from BlueHouseVintage is right up my alley!

MrFilthyRotten has some lovely 80's buttons to offer! These pineapple buttons are so cool!

These Vintage Orange Buckles are a steal! Up for grabs VintagePickle

This Honey Amber Rhinestone Brooch from PattycakesPlunder is to die for! A fabulous piece!

jforney000 has a wonderful rust colored dress that I really wish was my size! I hope someone out there can give this dress a home!

And lastly, an item from my shop! This lovely Orange Sheer Scarf available only at DelVintage!

I hope you all enjoy this collection!  Now it's time for me to get some sleep!  Goodnight!

Lovely Filigree

There's something about Filigree that has always caught my eye.  Something about this lacy metal design really dresses up an item.  It's a bit over the top, but that's what vintage is all about!

This vintage vanity mirror is framed with a beautiful filigree border. Up for grabs by Mountain Cove Antiques

Sarah Coventry produced a nice Chantilly Lace pattern that I was lucky enough to put in my own shop!

CheekyVintageCloset has a wonderful pair of shoes adorned with filigree!

This stunning brooch by OhTwoVintage is really beautiful!

Now in the 80's I was all about crushed velvet, but it's the buttons on this that really make the piece! A nice find from viralthreads!

This Fur Clip Brooch is so pretty! Very shabby chic! A wonderful listing by PurpleFrogShop

This filigree basket is an unusual piece, but very cool! A fine item listed by ricracandbuttons

I absolutely adore this jewelry box! It reminds me of something my grandma would have had on her vanity! A lovely listing by lovingtreasures!

TheDustyDog has a very cool brooch here! I am a sucker for roosters! Not sure why but I really love em!

A wonderfully simple brooch by baublesbeads is going to round out the blog!

I hope you have enjoyed this post, and I hope it brings you some appreciation for this vintage metalworking known as filigree!  More-so, I hope you show some love to these wonderfuls shops that have been featured today!

Cheers!

An Elephant Never Forgets - Vintage Finds regarding Elephants

Welcome to my first blog!  I don't plan on saying too much, although I may rant from time to time.  My goal with this blog is to bring outstanding vintage pieces to the attention of people who may not otherwise find them.  I hope that this endeavor will help you with your collecting and also with your shopping!  The holidays are fast approaching! <3  Amanda, DelVintage

While Napier isn't always my favorite vintage designers, this brooch is really cute! Up for sale by Purple Daisy Jewelry

These 1973 Wall Decor Elephants are very typical design of their time, but charming nonetheless. Listed by jawaddel on Etsy
